Custom Cuts Hairdressers Athlone: Westmeath Style Awards

Custom Cuts hairdressers Athlone were delighted to be an official sponsor of the Westmeath Style Awards again this year. The Westmeath Style Awards gala dinner was held last month on May 24th in the Sheraton Hotel, Athlone.

The Westmeath Style Awards, now in its fifth year, is a joint initiative between the Westmeath Examiner and Westmeath Independent. The event aims to applaud and recognise the best fashion and beauty related businesses in the County of Westmeath.

There were ten category awards at the Style Awards, an overall excellence in Style Award and a coveted best dressed title up for grabs on the night.

Members of the public nominated their favourite hair salons, boutiques and fitness classes to win. In the last five years, hundreds of businesses have been nominated and more than 50 firms have made it to the finals each year.

The three finalists in each category not only received media attention via the Westmeath Examiner and the Westmeath Independent, but also featured on both papers’ websites and social media platforms. This is a great opportunity for businesses as they receive some well-deserved time in the spotlight for their efforts over the last year.

Anna Daly is an award-winning anchor presenter on TV3’s National flagship breakfast shows, Saturday AM and Sunday AM and was once again, this year’s Westmeath Style Awards host. A proud UNICEF ambassador, Anna is mother to three little boys as well as brand ambassador for Mothercare, SEAT cars and the Marie Keating Foundation. Anna began her on-screen career presenting reports for weekday breakfast TV show, Ireland AM and is now a familiar face at the Westmeath Style Awards.
